Marvin H. Olinde

Marvin H. Olinde is a partner with the law firm of Taylor, Wellons, Politz & Duhe, APLC with offices in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Jackson, Mississippi. She brings 45 years of litigation experience to mediation clients in the fields of general liability, trucking and transportation, premise liability, construction law and products liability. Being part of the litigation process and involvement in alternative dispute resolution process for much of her career, she knows why and how mediation can be a successful resolution tool. As a litigator for 45 years, she has developed a relationship with all sides of the bar as being fair with an even temperament.

Mrs. Olinde was born and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana, where she attended and graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1970 and from Louisiana State University in 1974, with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. She received her Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center in 1978, where she was a member of the Law Review.

Mrs. Olinde was admitted to the Bar in 1978, Louisiana. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Certified by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
