Keely Scott joined Perry Dampf in 2012 and is a full-time mediator. She brings over 30 years of litigation experience to her mediation practice. Mrs. Scott utilizes creative approaches to resolve simple and complex multi-party disputes and is tireless in pursuing resolution for the parties. The vast majority of her cases end in settlement. Mrs. Scott regularly mediates across the State of Louisiana and is available for mediations throughout the United States.

A former owner and partner of Donohue, Patrick & Scott PLLC, Keely Scott is a full-time mediator who brings more than 30 years of diverse litigation experience to her mediation clients.
Mrs. Scott has mediated more than 900 cases across a broad range of practice areas including, simple and complex personal injury matters; first- and third-party property damage claims; complex insurance coverage and bad-faith disputes; mass tort litigation; commercial and contract disputes; professional liability matters; maritime and Jones Act claims; railroad and FELA litigation; trucking and transportation matters; and construction disputes of all types (including construction defects, design errors and omissions, delay claims, contract disputes, accident claims, redhibition, and NHWA claims).
Mrs. Scott has served as a court appointed mediator to the United States District Courts for the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of Louisiana. She is a Qualified Civil Mediator by the Louisiana State Bar Association. In 2014, Mrs. Scott completed intensive mediation training at Pepperdine Law School’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, one of the world’s leading dispute resolution programs.
In her litigation practice, Mrs. Scott represented clients in jury and bench trials in Louisiana state and federal courts and in Texas state courts. She also served as national counsel for U.S. and international clients in state and federal courts across the United States. She has represented clients in arbitration and before the Louisiana Legislature and various Louisiana state administrative boards and commissions. Mrs. Scott has represented clients in personal injury, property damage, complex insurance coverage, mass tort, commercial, products liability, professional liability and transportation litigation. She has extensive experience in construction disputes including representing architects, engineers and contractors in litigation involving construction defects, delays, personal injuries, property damage and design errors and/or omissions arising out of the construction of sports venues and stadiums, hotels and conference centers, office buildings, energy production facilities, condominium and apartment complexes, single family residences, student dormitories, university libraries and buildings, schools, shopping centers, churches, recreational facilities, and roads, bridges and highways. After a nationwide interview process, Mrs. Scott was selected as one of three attorneys to defend claims arising out of the MGM Mirage CityCenter Construction Project in Las Vegas.
Mrs. Scott was born on August 3, 1969, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is admitted to the Louisiana Bar (1995), the Texas Bar (2003), the U.S. District Courts: Middle, Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. She is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell by members of the bar and judiciary for legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
Mrs. Scott is an experienced and frequent speaker on mediation/ADR, first and third-party insurance coverage and liability matters and construction litigation.
