Dan Lund is covering mediations and arbitrations in Louisiana, as well as nationwide. With thirty-five years of legal experience representing businesses, Mr. Lund is ideally suited for assisting in the resolution of cases involving complex business matters. Mr. Lund is a partner at Phelps Dunbar LLP in New Orleans, Louisiana. His practice specializes in construction and surety litigation and arbitration, business, insurance and products liability defense litigation, contract drafting and negotiation, telecommunications, as well as land use law in the areas of zoning and planning. He represents general contractors, major subcontractors, sureties, public and private owners, and wireless telecommunications carriers and owners of telecommunications infrastructure.

Beginning in 2012, Mr. Lund has received annually the Top Lawyers recognition in the fields of Alternative Dispute Resolution and Construction by New Orleans Magazine and has been honored since 2010 in the Louisiana Super Lawyers publication in the field of Construction Litigation, also achieving in that publication in 2023 and 2024 a Top 50 ranking across all practice areas for all Louisiana and New Orleans attorneys. Endeavoring always to broaden his horizons, Mr. Lund obtained in 2009 a Master of Theological Studies degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Outside of the courtroom, Dan regularly lectures on construction law topics and speaks on legal ethics.
