Thomas R. Juneau, Sr., a partner at Perry Dampf Dispute Solutions, is a full-time mediator. He has served as mediator in over 2,000 disputes in various states, including Louisiana, California, Texas, and New York, ranging from basic, two-party casualty matters to complex, multi-party class action lawsuits. Mr. Juneau has nearly thirty years of legal experience. An active trial attorney for the first twenty years of his practice as a shareholder with Juneau David, APLC, he gained extensive experience in a wide variety of serious personal injury and wrongful death cases, including class actions, first-party claims, general casualty, insurance coverage, mass torts, premises liability, products liability, professional liability, toxic torts, and trucking litigation. Mr. Juneau represented both plaintiffs and defendants and tried cases in various venues throughout the State of Louisiana. While Mr. Juneau’s full-time mediation practice has focused on serious personal injury and wrongful death cases, he has mediated cases in a wide array of other fields as well – such as business, commercial, and contract disputes. Mr. Juneau completed mediation training at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Law School, ranked the top dispute resolution program in the country by U.S. News & World Report. He has also been appointed by various judges to serve as Special Master in complex class action disputes.
Recognized as a leader in the field of A.D.R., Mr. Juneau is a Certified Civil Mediator by the Louisiana State Bar Association and an elected Fellow in the American College of Civil Trial Mediators, Academy of Court-Appointed Neutrals (A.C.A.N.), and the Louisiana Bar Foundation. He is also an elected Barrister in the College of Master Advocates and Barristers. He has been repeatedly named by Louisiana Life Magazine and St. Charles Avenue Magazine as one of the "Top Attorneys in Louisiana", as well as a "Louisiana Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics. He achieved the highest rating (“A.V.”) by Martindale-Hubbell legal directory in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution, as evaluated by his peers.
Mr. Juneau was born and reared in Lafayette. He and his wife, Karen, are the proud parents of three adult children: Truley, Thomas, and Mary. He is active in various civic and charitable organizations, including Tiger Athletic Foundation (Board Member), Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana (Emeritus Board Member), Acadiana Tigers (Past President), and United Way of Acadiana (Volunteer Hall of Fame).
